Dear Aromatherapy Friends,
Spring has definitely sprung here on Vancouver Island! There’s nothing like the feeling you get when you throw open your curtains in the morning and you’re greeted with blue sky, bird song & new flowers. What an optimistic time of year.
Many of us have been busy in our gardens during this wonderful weather. After a few months off, getting back into physical shape can be a bit hard on our bodies. Some essential oils that can help alleviate some of your muscle aches & pains include Black Pepper, Birch (used in low dilution), Copaiba, Eucalyptus Globulus, Ginger, Lavender, Marjoram and Peppermint, just to name a few! We also have our Acheaway synergy available as a pure essential oil blend as well as a Personal Massage Roller, ready to go!
Enjoy your April!
Aromatically Yours,
Barb Greenwood

did you know?
National Garlic Day is observed on April 19, 2024. It celebrates the “stinking rose” and promotes the many uses of Garlic. Garlic is widely used around the world for its pungent flavor as a seasoning or condiment.
Garlic cloves are used for consumption (raw or cooked) or for medicinal purposes. They have a characteristic pungent, spicy flavor that mellows and sweetens considerably with cooking. Garlic is a fundamental component in many or most dishes of various regions.
Garlic has been used as both food and medicine in many cultures for thousands of years, dating at least as far back as when the Giza pyramids were built. *This text has been taken from www.cute-calendar.com*
Though Garlic essential oil exists, it is incredibly potent and not used or really recommended in regular essential oil use. We much prefer to stick to using the ‘real’ thing for culinary purposes!
