It governs the pituitary gland, endocrine system, sinuses and nose. It is associated with inner vision, intuition, imagination, idealism, concentration and peace of mind. It is connected to the color indigo, and all the 6 senses.
The life lesson of this chakra is emotional intelligence and some of the crystals associated with this chakra are amethyst, purple apatite, calcite, sapphire and lapis lazuli.
