Description
Palo Santo is a wild tree originally found on the coast of the South Pacific, with an average lifespan of between 80 – 90 years. This aged heart wood is rich in terpenes and produces concentrated Palo Santo oil which it deposits into the interior of it’s tree trunk. It takes the Palo Santo trees ten years to produce this oil, and only branches that have naturally fallen from the trees are gathered to obtain the concentrated essential oil.
Palo Santo Essential Oil is used to purify and cleanse the spirit and is often used to help calm the mind and relax the senses. Great to use whilst meditating or to aid concentration/enhance learning. Palo Santo is related to Frankincense and Myrrh and shares many of their attributes. It is suggested to be a great remedy for symptoms in bronchitis, allergies and asthma, and can also be used in massage to relieve muscle/joint pain and inflammation. Palo Santo is also said to aid skin regeneration as it serves to increase skin nutrition which can help speed up healing and flexibility.
