Bergamot essential oil has a beautifully grounded citrus scent, and is thought to have great anti-depressant, antiseptic, soothing, and uplifting properties. A gorgeous top note, Bergamot essential oil is a welcome addition to this blend that promotes healthy and calm minds.
Geranium essential oil is a floral middle note, and may have anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and stimulation properties. A great oil to use when you are feeling down, Geranium essential oil may also stimulate the adrenal cortex which can help balance the production of hormones.
Lavender essential oil is a classic calming oil, and is thought to have wonderful anti-anxiety, balancing, and calming effects. With a light floral scent, Lavender essential oil is a middle note that may help treat headaches and other pains. This oil may also be beneficial in treating colds and flus as it is thought to have antibacterial properties.
Ylang Ylang essential oil is the deep floral base note of this blend, and may have wonderful anti-depressant, antiseptic, and sedative properties. Too much of this oil can cause headaches and/or nausea, so be sparing with its use.
