Only one child in the world was greeted with gifts as valuable as Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh. While we couldn’t blend gold into this synergy, instead we chose oils with golden tones, like Orange and Benzoin. To gently sweeten the scent, we added a touch of Ylang Ylang, creating a blend to help calm and uplift, as we realize the need to forgive, let go of old spiritual wounds and then move forward.
Frankincense essential oil has been valued for centuries and is thought to be anti-inflammatory and sedative; as such it is wonderful oil that may help to heal wounds and inflammatory conditions. With its woody, balsamic, and sweet aroma, this oil has been known to be extremely calming and may help slow and deepen the breath.
Myrrh essential oil is thought to be a wonderful anti-viral, antifungal, and expectorant oil. Because of this, Myrrh essential oil may be used to help fight viral and yeast infections. With a musty, warm, and almost smoky aroma, Myrrh is a beautiful base note.
Sweet Orange essential oil is thought to have natural antidepressant capabilities and may be used as a lymph stimulator. This oil has a tangy, sweet, and citrusy scent, and may be mildly sedative with an uplifting quality.
Benzoin oil is not an essential oil and has a gently vanilla-like aroma. This oil can be used as an inhalation for coughs, loss of voice, or added to creams to help heal chapped and cracked skin.
Use in a diffuser when you want your house to smell spiced and regal or carry it with you in a personal inhaler to get the benefits when you are on the go.
