2025 04: Aromatherapy Newsletter April 2025
Green Valley Aromatherapy – April 2025

Dear Aromatherapy Friends,
We are a bit late sending out our April newsletter.
With Barb’s passing we are thinking of the turning of the seasons, and how life goes on.
The beautiful Spring weather we are experiencing right now lightens the heart, leaving us hopeful that our sadness will slowly fade, but loved ones will not be forgotten.
We hope to honor Barb by carrying on in her footsteps, and look to all the adventures, and new friends we will meet going forward.
Aromatically Yours,
The Green Valley Aromatherapy Team

Profile on breath easy blend:
This healing blend of Eucalyptus Radiata, Frankincense, Goldenrod, Lavender, Lemon and Ravintsara was created specifically for upper respiratory ailments, congested sinuses and to help alleviate the symptoms of seasonal allergies.
Eucalyptus Radiata is especially helpful for upper respiratory issues. Milder than its cousin, Eucalyptus Globulus, Radiata is an excellent decongestant and may bring relief to sinus headaches.
Frankincense has proven valuable in treating respiratory issues with its calming, anti-inflammatory effects on bronchitis and asthma.
Goldenrod is a known anti-inflammatory. It has become a favorite among our staff as is helps to ease congestion and sooth irritated sinuses.
Lavender is well known for its calming properties and this extends to easing symptoms associated with hay fever, colds and flu. Said to carry natural antihistamine qualities as well as being an excellent anti-inflammatory, lavender is a wonderful addition to this blend.
Lemons antibacterial, disinfectant, germicide and immune-stimulating properties help aid the healing of sinus infections, and allergic rhinitis.
Ravintsara is a wonderful antiviral and immune stimulant. It is very gentle and considered a safe oil for children or anyone suffering from sinusitis and bronchitis.

Avocado Oil (Persea americana), refined, is great for all skin types. This oil has a high “slip” factor. Contains palmitic acid, palmitoleic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acids. This oil is wonderful for dehydrated skins as it has the ability to penetrate the upper layers of the skin. Avocado oil is very moisturizing and therefore also very helpful for rashes, eczema and aging skin types.

Diy solid aromatherapy perfume:
This simple recipe is an excellent base for any number of essential oil blends. Use one of our suggested combinations or create your very own personal scent
1 teaspoon Beeswax
1 tablespoon Sweet Almond Oil
1/2 ounce (15ml) container
Suggested essential oil perfume combinations:

- Black Pepper 2 drops
- Lemon 3 drops
- Vetivert 1 drop

Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes. Add the essential oils and stir well for 1 minute.
Pour the solid perfume DIY into the container. Let it cool and solidify completely.
Use your finger to apply your perfume to pulse points or wherever you want to add some scent. Reapply as needed.
