Green Valley Aromatherapy – March 2025

Dear Aromatherapy Friends,

With heavy hearts we share the news that Barbara Ann Greenwood passed away on March 7th at the age of 79. Barb will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Barb had a buoyant disposition, a good sense of humour and an easy laugh. She loved sharing food and good times with family and friends. Barb was always up for a party, or any adventure and was ready and willing to jump in to help where ever needed. Barb loved all animals, and especially her cats. Barb’s passion for life was matched by her ambition, starting Green Valley Aromatherapy in 1994 and steering at the helm for 31 years!

Barbara has passed along Green Valley Aromatherapy to her two sons, Andrew and Darren, who will be carrying on with the business as usual, in memory of their mother.

A Celebration of Life will be held in June, date & location to be determined, and announced at a later date. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the kittycatpals.com cat rescue society, the S.P.C.A. or other animal rescue of your choice in her name.

We are honored to have worked alongside Barbara. She will be missed.

healing spray for bumps and bruises:

Bumps, bruises and mild abrasions are bound to happen in our fast-paced, somewhat distracted lives. This easy-to-make spray will help to take the ‘ouch’ out of them as well as aid healing. This spray is gentle enough to use on small children over the age of 2 and elderly folk.

In a spray bottle of your choosing mix equal parts of each hydrosol/floral water (or adjust to suit your own preference) and shake gently to incorporate. It is recommended to store in the refrigerator to extend the shelf-life.

Use as needed.
