Description
Ho wood has been growing in popularity over the years as an ethical substitute for the endangered Rosewood, it is widely used in perfumery for this reason. It has chemical constituents and healing properties similar to Rosewood, Ho Wood also has a very high linalool content which makes it beneficial as an antidepressant, Immunostimulant and in skin regeneration and healing. When added to skin cream it has been said to help prevent wrinkles and the signs of aging. Also calming & sedating it is considered helpful with anxiety, stress & stress-related conditions, Ho Wood is known as an Oil of Peace.
Ho Wood’s sweet, camphorous notes produce a cool, fresh feeling which can help to alleviate minor aches and pains. Ho Wood has a wonderful fresh, sweet, woody fragrance reminiscent of Rosewood.
Ho Wood blends well with:
Amyris, Benzoin, Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Chamomile Roman, Clary Sage, Copaiba, Cypress, Frankincense, Geranium, Lemon, Lemongrass, Sweet Marjoram, Lavender, Ravintsara, Sandalwood, and Ylang Ylang.
