Description

Roman Chamomile an herb that is steam distilled to produce a very light blue essential oil. Some of the countries that produce Roman Chamomile essential oil include England, France, Hungary, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia.

Chamomile is a very soothing, healing essential oil. When treating abscesses, boils and sensitive skin, Roman Chamomile is a good essential oil to use. It is also used for headaches, insomnia, irritability, with the possibility of helping to take the edge off migraines if caught in the early stages. This essential oil is known to help balance the feminine reproductive system, and as such may help with amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea and menopause.

The main chemical components of Roman Chamomile essential oil are angelic ester and tiglic ester (making up over 80% of its composition).

Roman Chamomile essential oil blends well with Bergamot essential oil, Clary Sage essential oil, Jasmine essential oil, Lavender essential oil and Neroli essential oil.
