Description

Copaiba Balsam is a base note with a light, sweet, woody, resinous aroma, usually found in Brazil.

Copaiba Balsam is steam distilled from the resin of the Copaiba tree. The resin is extracted from the wild trees by tapping/drilling holes into the tree. This does not harm the trees and the resin is steam distilled to make the essential oil.

Copaiba Balsam is said to be a very powerful anti-inflammatory. It may provide relief with tendon, joint and muscle pain so is a great choice for the active person. This is a good oil to use for a variety of skin conditions such as acne, fungal skin infections, fungal nail infections, athlete’s foot and dermatitis. Other uses for Copaiba Balsam include bronchitis, sore throats, tonsillitis, varicose veins, stomach aches and as a perfume fixative.
